Life expectancy on dialysis - need physicians or weblinks?

People can live a good long while on dialysis. However, if your mother has Congestive Heart Failure so bad that she gained 60lbs in fluid...then I would say her kidney's are the least of her worries. There is no real treatment for congestive heart failure to this extent.. However it is also possible that this fluid gain is more from the diabetes than the CHF. In which case, is much more treatable than the CHF. Honestly I think it is best if you direct all of these questions you have to your mother's doctors.
