Why is my wetness so thick?

Well im a virgin but my boyfriend fingered me for the first time today and I got ridiculously wet like a hurricane or something. Anyways I went to take a shower and i noticed like my wetness is really thick like phlegm. Its not an infection it smells fresh. Im thinking t just built up because I got so wet?
