I had gallbladder surgery Monday?

I had gall bladder surgery this past Monday. I have not had a bowel movement yet. I am so bloated and cant get any relief. I seen my surgeon today and asked but he said take a couple tablespoons of milk of mag, ok I did that and 8 hours later, nothing. I have drank apple juice, water and even mag citrate. What is wrong with me? I didnt take any pains pills other than tylenol after surgery. Has anyone went through this and had the same/similar problems? Any help or suggestions would greatly be apperciated. I am 32 year old female in good health. I had gallstones, my surgeon told me today that I had a ton of gallstones, 45-50 stones, Is that alot?
