Does the movie industry effect firearm laws?

not to mention gun safety; or lack there of. The lack of knowledge of holding, shooting, using, etc. They say they use profession armorers, police weapons experts and etc but I highly doubt that. Or they do but ignore their opinions to do it the way they think makes more money.
