How to comfort a baby with allergies?

My 7 month old baby boy has allergies. He was born with it and his pediatrician said he will grow out of it with age. I know I should not worry too much but as a first time mother I never stop worrying. I constantly have to be giving him saline nose drops and I cannot use any scented lotion or baby wash on him. I on the other hand cannot wear any scented lotion of perfume either as this will bother him. I have to be cleaning the house regularly and keeping it dust free. My baby's pediatrician told me that climate changes also will affect the my baby's sinsues. If outside it too hot and humid it bothers him and if the rain falls and the temperature drops chilly at night it bothers him also. None of my friends who have children have ever had a baby with allergies so I can't really turn to any of them for support. He is 7 months now and its not as bad as it was when he was born but when he's asleep it sounds like if he is snoring. Does anyone else have any experiences similar to mine?
