A question about my step-daughter?

Well.... I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and I am a full time step mother so I can tell you.... it's tough. My step daughter is 3 and she's having a rough time with this. She's excited to be having a little brother but she's so scared that I'm not going to love her, and that I'm going to leave her like her mommy did... basically I just reure her that I'm not going anywhere and that I won't love her any less. I would let her come to you guys with questions. Don't bring up the subject unless she brings it up. When you guys do get pregnant just make sure she knows that she'll be your big helper with everything. All I do is tell me step daughter she's going to be my big helper with the baby and she gets excited and cheers right up. She doesn't want to feel left out or feel like you don't love her anymore because that child will be "your" child. Whenever she brings it up just keep reuring her that you will still love her, no matter what.
