RUNESCAPE: How do I learn to use the broom?

I have had the broom enchanted by Ali the Hag and the Old Crone. I can get teleported to the Sorceresse's Garden by her apprentice but when I try to use the broom it tells "I have not learned how to use it yet." What else must I do to be able to use it on it's own?
