HELP! Father's Day for single mom:?

Well you're right, it's hard to say what a mother can do for a daughter that the father is suppose to do. My dad showed me how to get away from an attacker, he made me feel safe when he would want to meet the boy I was dating and have a "chat" with him. He made me feel secure when my mom said he was going to punish me but all he did was smile, tell me not to do it again, and if mom asks he gave me a whooping.
