Help on girls names please?

Lexi and Tilly are nicknames and I don't feel they should be used as full names. I would call a child Lexi, but name her Alexis or Alexandra. I would call a child Tilly, but I would name her Matilda, Chantilly, or Yentil. Names like Lexi or Tilly sound strange as an adult. For example, my cousin's exhusband was named Tommy. His name was not Thomas, it was Tommy. He's in his late 30's now and it seems very unfitting to call him Tommy. It's just weird. So give your child a more formal name, but do by all means call them by the nickname you love.
