People can live a good long while on dialysis. However, if your mother has Congestive Heart Failure so bad that she gained 60lbs in fluid...then I would say her kidney's are the least of her worries. There is no real treatment for congestive heart failure to this extent.. However it is also possible that this fluid gain is more from the diabetes than the CHF. In which case, is much more treatable than the CHF. Honestly I think it is best if you direct all of these questions you have to your mother's doctors.

hi there i need some advice on how to deal with my 3 year old nephew who to a bit to say the least. i have 2 children and my sister just has my one nephew.not to sound awful but from birth my nephew has been hard work for my sister and he hasnt really gotton any better as he has gotten older. he is very violent,aggressive and is always seeking attention.basically if he wants something my sister or my sisters partner gives it to him.the problem i have got is when i take my daughter who is 3(same age as my nephew) to their house he is constantly smacking biting and pushing her.this has been going on since they were 1 year old and my daughter gets sick of it.now i no kids fight but this is every time we go up there.and my partner is getting sick of her coming home with bite marks etc. like i said he gets his own way all the time.now for instance the other day me and my daughter were at their house as i was babysitting as my sister was at work.he was ok when i was there but when his dad walked through the door he started crying and screaming (which he does a lot). his dad had not bought him a chocolate egg so my nephew started kicking screaming.the next thing he picked up his play golf stick and hit his dad round the face.his dad told him off slightly and then went to the shop and got him chocolate. i couldnt believe he had given him that after what he had done.oh and then he hit me in the face with the stick.i just cant understand this child.i no he is my nephew but swhen me my sister my daughter aand him go out its kind of embarrasing.ivre tought my daughter boundaries i thin k and he doesnt have any.i have tried speaking to my sister about his behaviour but she got in a mood and refused to talk about it. its just getting too much.everytime we have a family occion he somehow happens to spoil it because of his behaviour.when it was my little girls birthday in march we all went to a kids jungle jims for the day.every child played lovely but my nephew was a knightmare.he started saying swear words in front of everyone,i was mortified.i dont know what to do because my sister is so awkward. and to be honest her idea of discipline is to scream at him and smack him really hard at which he just laughs at.all our family are just sick of his behaviour and worried he is going to get worse as he starts school next year.what can i do? as my sister is not easy to approach about the subject

QUESTION ON GETTIN THE BIG BUCK, IN THE BIG WOODS?

For years now it's always been tradition to go to deer camp, pick a tree and throw some bait out and get a spike, 4 or a six point. We hunt big timber and it aint the normal pattern of, bed to feed like you see on tv. These deer are complete aimless grazers that have no pattern. You could scout for weeks on end to figure these boogers out. I guess it's a situation like you see when they hunt in Saskatchewan where they use alfalfa bales. PC mouse has sticky residue on plastic?

Help - I got a "new" mouse - an old model that was discontinued a long time ago, but the mouse itself is brand new and sealed. When I opened it up, I found that the parts of the mouse which are meant to be provide grip (along the sides for instance), instead have a very sticky feel to them. Need help with a 120lb baby!?

Hello everyone. I am needing some advise here. I have a two year old, 120lb Neopolitan Mastiff. She is the sweetest dog ever, great with kids, and my 9 lb Mini Schnauzer. So here is the deal. Here lately, if I am putting her in her outside pen for a potty break, she will just fall down on our way to the pen. She isnt sick, actually she is in top health right now, its just she doesnt want to go to the pen. If I am taking her for a walk and turn in that direction she will just flop down and not move until I turn the oppisite way. It was cute at first, but do you know how difficult it is to get a 120lb dog off the ground? I dont always have the time, (sometimes it take 10 min. to get her to move) and its really frustrating. I dont have a fenced yard, as I have three acres and she cannot be chained. She will not potty while the leash is on, so what can I do to stop this behavior? Why do white people stick to their own kind?

I'm of Indian origin, but I'm born in the UK. Most people think that I'm either Spanish or something of that sort, plus I don't really relate to Indian people, but that's not the point. I had gallbladder surgery Monday?

I had gall bladder surgery this past Monday. I have not had a bowel movement yet. I am so bloated and cant get any relief. I seen my surgeon today and asked but he said take a couple tablespoons of milk of mag, ok I did that and 8 hours later, nothing. I have drank apple juice, water and even mag citrate. Knee pain after minisk surgery?

I’ve created a pretty complicated world in my free time, its comprised of 3 continents that have been discovered thus far by the most advanced races and countries with several others out there. How to comfort a baby with allergies?

My 7 month old baby boy has allergies. He was born with it and his pediatrician said he will grow out of it with age. I know I should not worry too much but as a first time mother I never stop worrying. I constantly have to be giving him saline nose drops and I cannot use any scented lotion or baby wash on him. I on the other hand cannot wear any scented lotion of perfume either as this will bother him. I have to be cleaning the house regularly and keeping it dust free. My baby's pediatrician told me that climate changes also will affect the my baby's sinsues. If outside it too hot and humid it bothers him and if the rain falls and the temperature drops chilly at night it bothers him also. None of my friends who have children have ever had a baby with allergies so I can't really turn to any of them for support. He is 7 months now and its not as bad as it was when he was born but when he's asleep it sounds like if he is snoring. Does anyone else have any experiences similar to mine?

A lot of older people can be very set in their ways & honestly don't give a hoot what they say either! They'll come rite out & say whatever is on their minds without thinking. I've learned this from working with the public for 20 yrs. & mainly older folks. It's almost like they have their own special "attitudes". You either like it or the heck with you so to say. This possibly could be the way they are when you're late. It's your fault, you pay so to speak. You could do as the other poster suggested & say something to them. But, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it didn't do any good! Computer Science Modules A Bit Weird?

Hi I'm doing a computer science course, and I'm concerned about some of these modules. For example, there's technology and change - all about philosophy and ethics. Then there's ICT, where we write out a spec. sheets for building our own computer (but not actually putting it together ourselves bizarrely). And there's systems ysis and design which is going to be taught every semester for the first two years and it's about drawing UML diagrams a lot. We have Java and C programming too but since I've done loads of it in my spare time there's no challenge at all. I'm now in semester two (first year) - the thing that concerns me most is that cles are often disruptive and people keep heckling the lecturer. They are huge cles too, so I'm wondering if I've made the right choice here - although it would be a shame to leave and go to another university as I've made friends here... I don't know what to do I have 400 UCAS points and the course accepts just over 200 but around half the cl here have come here straight out of school! Is that normal? Do you think it's worth looking at other universities or are they mostly all the same (except Oxford or Cambridge or whatever, maybe I expected too much from my course?) Anyway, if anyone is on or has done a computer science course let me know what you think about this, I like it here it's just that it seems to me this is going to be easy and boring, it's satisfying looking at A*s but will employers be turned against my qualification if it's from a university a little bit low on the league table? btw I'm trying to be a games programmer so obviously it's very competitive! It's actually a course in Computer Science with Games Programming and at least the games programming side of it is well taught and well funded.

to keep people from causing a scene or badmouthing their restaurant. i work at a place that's not corporate and they dont' usually do it as much as a regular place would because they know that the customer is going to tip off the reduced price rather than the full price of their meal. we had one lady that ordered the same thing 3 times and tried to get it taken off. the first two times it worked, but the 3rd time both managers were there and recognized her immediately. some people are just out to get something for free and the big corporate places have lower food costs and can afford it easier than they can afford bad reviews that would affect all their restaurants.

A question about my step-daughter?

Well.... I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and I am a full time step mother so I can tell you.... it's tough. My step daughter is 3 and she's having a rough time with this. She's excited to be having a little brother but she's so scared that I'm not going to love her, and that I'm going to leave her like her mommy did... basically I just reure her that I'm not going anywhere and that I won't love her any less. I would let her come to you guys with questions. Don't bring up the subject unless she brings it up. All I do is tell me step daughter she's going to be my big helper with the baby and she gets excited and cheers right up. Problems with my SUV Transmission?

So I took my 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4 V8 to the shop to get new transmission fluid because I have drained it by accident because I thought it was the oil drainage plug, anyway I went to have the new transmission fluid put back and I payed $140.00. Later I come to pick it up the mechanic says its starting to slip and my axles are bad because I have had drained the transmission fluid, the transmission was new only had 40,000 miles on it, could he have done something to it by purpose or is it normal that it is slipping because of the transmission fluid?

Question about car audio?

Well it all depends clarity vs. decibels! Kenwood makes good head units and power for the price. With the head unit you'll also need a wiring harness to connect to your factory wiring and a fit kit to make the radio fit your existing dash. Speakers if you just want to make a swap with your factory speakers and not get into tweeters and all that jazz, you'll want to go with an all in one speaker, which covers all the highs, mids, and lows. For this I would recommend JL Audio or Rockford Fosgate. JL will be the more expensive one but Rockford gives you the depth all in all they are very comparible. All you need for this probably just a drill to retro fit new holes for the speakers and some wire connectors for the wiring. If you don't go to crazy with the speakers you can still use all of the factory wiring and not have to use an amp, the radio should have enough of juice to power them. All of this should fit into your price range. Also make sure when you buy the speakers to get the ones that will fit your door, depth wise and heighth wise. If you get speakers that are to deep it could interfere with the window going up and down. If you get speakers that stick out to far you won't be able to put your door panels back and could lead to some cutting. In the past I went to stereo specific stores and they seemed to be more knowledgable than your big box stores (circuit city, best buy, etc.) Also another place thats been real helpful to me in the past is crutchfield.com they also will give you good directions on install and everything else....check the link! All in all it's not to hard to do the install and hey if nothing else you learned something and you can take pride in saying, " Yeah I installed"!

I heard eating nuts and omega 3 fish oil is supposed to help get rid of depression, and I read something recently in a magazine that, painting, dancing, and singing also help. Thats not too good to be honest, boring in fact. include more decription with interesting metaphors! but keep going and you will get beter, u definately need a more unique writing style to grip the reader. also most of the narrative is in dialect like "half seven", if the narrative voice is saying this it should be more formal.

My dog is 9 years old what is wrong with her skin?

My dog is 9 years old she had flea pretty bad about a month ago. we treated her with front line plus . The fleas seem to be gone but she got a good size raw sore on the front of her neck about 3 weeks ago. that is all better now and the hair is growing back, But now she is starting to get a smaller raw crusty sore on the top of her head by her ear. looking over the back of he neck she has a butch of crusty bumps . her skin looks vary dry and flakey. and her hair falls out pretty easily. any idea what this could be. we thought it might be from the fleas but not sure now that the fleas are gone, she has never had anything like this befor but she is allergic to fleas and cheep food. we have to give her blue seal food or she will start to lose hair also. When I was younger, I was sent to visit my grandparents. I've come to dread the morning and nightly routine over there. My grandfather would walk me through the brushing my teeth, and taking a bath and everything. I felt uncomfortable being naked in front of him. Same thing before bed he would always have a reason to be in the bathroom while I was taking a bath. I hated it, but didn't say anything because he is my grandfather. So this has been going on since I was really little up until the last time I visited when I was 12. The last time I visited, My grandparents told me to take a bath, and so I did. Because I didn't use the towel they laid out to wash with, they didn't believe that I took a bath. I remember showing my wet hair even. So I was brought back in the bathroom and stripped down, and they gave me a bath like I was 3 years old. It was so humiliating. I could understand if I was like 4, but I've been bathing myself at home for years. Am I wrong for feeling violated?

I only read the beginning of your plot summary, but what I read was good. As for your title, it isn't very good. The reader might get confused as many people don't know what that is. When I saw your title, I thought of XOXO, meaning hugs and kisses. Perhaps you can think of a different name for the element and use that as the title. I think using the element's name for the title is a good idea, but you need to adjust the element's name.

my girlfriend needs to do a report on mary shelleys frankenstein and we have to read the book and watch the movie. i have never seen the movie, but i have seen the movie Young Frankenstein, which was based on mary shelleys characters. i was just curious to know if young frankenstein is basically the same story as frankenstein? i know it is based on his grandson, but is the storyline the same? my girlfriend is afraid of horror movies, and if young frankenstein is the same story, we would rather watch a comedy/musical to help relate to the book. can anyone help me out?

Help on girls names please?

Lexi and Tilly are nicknames and I don't feel they should be used as full names. I would call a child Lexi, but name her Alexis or Alexandra. I would call a child Tilly, but I would name her Matilda, Chantilly, or Yentil. Names like Lexi or Tilly sound strange as an adult. For example, my cousin's exhusband was named Tommy. His name was not Thomas, it was Tommy. He's in his late 30's now and it seems very unfitting to call him Tommy. It's just weird. So give your child a more formal name, but do by all means call them by the nickname you love.

TTC for 9 years!! Now 22 days late but 5 x BFN?!?

We have been TTC for 9 years! Been diagnosed with PCOS 8 years ago, but have been keeping it under control with various treatment. My AF has always been like clockwork every 30 days and I have been ovulating every month as well. My last AF was due 29 Dec but NOTHING - have a few pg symptoms like sore , frequent trips to the bathroom, queasiness (but not bad nausea) funny little headaches, and an intermittent metallic tast in my mounth, also strange twinges and cramps in my tummy. Have been to Doc and his urine PT's come out negative, although he thought he saw a faint positive on Thurs but wasnt. Have had blood test done on Fri but will be Tues before I get results :( I am going crazy at the moment.. and to top it off, my sister in law has just announced she is PG yesterday!! Nothing quite like that to make you feel all rosy!!! My sister had 5-6 negs too and only found out when she was 4 mnths gone with her daughter?! Could there be any hope for me? Sorry for the venting xx
